Srinagar, Jan. 11 -- The residents of Ward No 5 in Bowan, Watsar area of Rajwar in north Kashmir's Kupwara district on Saturday alleged that their area has been deprived of basic facilities.
The aggrieved residents told KNS that the village had no proper road connectivity and they are being forced to carry patients on shoulder for at least two kilometres to reach the hospital.
"The work on the road was started few years back under MGNEREGA, but has not been completed till now for the reasons best known to the authorities. This results in huge inconvenience to the people. In the absence of proper road, the school going children and elderly people face immense hardships," they said.
