Bandipora, Aug. 10 -- In a tragic incident, an 18-year-old youth from Rajouri, who was presently putting up in Ganderbal, drowned while bathing in the Madhumati Nallah in the Muslim Abad area of north Kashmir's Bandipora district on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Nazakat Ali, son of Akhter Ali of a village in Rajouri. According to locals, the youth was returning from the Urs of Nanga Baji in Malangam when the incident occurred.

Eyewitnesses said the body was retrieved by locals from the stream and shifted to the District Hospital Bandipora, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
