Srinagar, Sept. 1 -- The Northern Railway on Monday announced the restoration of four major trains connecting New Delhi, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, Kolkata and Jammu Tawi, bringing relief to thousands of passengers after services had remained suspended due to floods and landslides in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to KNS, train no. 12445 (New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra) and 12446 (Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi) will resume operations from September 1, 2025. The Kolkata-Jammu Tawi (13151) and Jammu Tawi-Kolkata (13152) services will be restored from September 2, 2025.
