Srinagar, May 18 -- As part of Hafta-e-Shadat to commemorate the 35th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed-e-Millat Mirwaiz Molvi Muhammad Farooq (RA), Anjuman Auqaf Jama Masjid Srinagar organised Quran Khwani, special prayer gathering, and a grand Qur'an recitation competition at Jama Masjid Srinagar today .

In a statement issued to KNS it was highlighted that Over 30 prominent Islamic seminaries from across Kashmir, including remote border areas, participated in the event, with young Qaris showcasing their recitation skills.
