Srinagar, Dec. 19 -- Sub-zero night temperatures continued across large parts of the Kashmir Valley, with several places recording minimum temperatures well below the freezing point, while the Jammu region witnessed comparatively milder conditions, officials said on Friday. In the Kashmir region, Pulwama recorded the lowest minimum temperature at minus 4.0 degrees Celsius, followed by Baramulla at minus 3.6 degrees Celsius and Pampore and Shopian at minus 3.5 degrees Celsius each, officials said. The minimum temperature in Srinagar settled at minus 2.1 degrees Celsius, while the Srinagar airport recorded minus 3.4 degrees Celsius.
