Srinagar, Sept. 18 -- Former Union Minister Prof. Saifuddin Soz has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of renowned scholar-politician Prof. Abdul Ghani Bhat of Botengo, Sopore.

Recalling his long association with Prof. Bhat, Soz said, "I knew him as a close associate for over half a century. We worked together at Government College Baramulla and later at Government College Sopore. Those years have now become a treasury of memories for me."
