New Delhi, June 4 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Jammu and Kashmir on June 6 to inaugurate several key infrastructure projects aimed at improving connectivity and development in the region.

According to official details, PM Modi will visit the Chenab Rail Bridge at 11 AM, followed by the inauguration of the Anji Bridge. He will also flag off two Vande Bharat Express trains connecting Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra to Srinagar.

The Chenab Bridge, the world's highest railway arch bridge at 359 meters above the river, is expected to drastically cut travel time between Katra and Srinagar to around 3 hours. The Anji Bridge, India's first cable-stayed rail bridge, is another engineering feat in challenging terrain.
