Jammu, Nov. 3 -- Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) chief and former Chief Minister Dr Farooq Abdullah on Monday said that Jammu and Kashmir have always been one and will remain united in the future.

Speaking to reporters in Jammu, Abdullah said, "Jammu and Kashmir are one, and Jammu will progress along with Kashmir. The people of both regions have always considered themselves one, connected by language and faith, and will continue to remain united."

He congratulated the Jammu Chamber of Commerce and the people for their cooperation, saying their welcome reflects unity and understanding between the regions. When asked about the restoration of statehood, Abdullah said, "Inshallah, it will be completed soon."
