Jammu, Dec. 3 -- Mumtaz Bhat Rafiabad, Dec 3(KNS): Residents of Tehsil Dangiwacha in North Kashmir have raised concerns over inadequate healthcare facilities at the local Primary Health Centre (PHC) and urged the government to upgrade it to a Sub-District Hospital (SDH). Locals said that despite the construction of a new hospital building intended for an upgraded SDH, the institution continues to function as a PHC, leaving thousands dependent on limited services. Several key medical positions remain vacant, including those of a gynaecologist and a paediatrician.
