Jammu, Feb. 18 -- The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Provincial President Kashmir Showkat Mir Tuesday reiterated that under the leadership of Omar Abdullah, J&K government will liberate people from bureaucratic red tape and bring an end to the era of unaccountability.

He said this while interacting with a number of public and individual delegations that called on him at the party headquarters Nawa-e-Subha,Srinagar.

Referring to the changes following the formation of the democratically elected government led by Omar Abdullah, Mir emphasised that people are no longer seen as subjects, but as citizens to whom the elected government is accountable.
