Srinagar, Nov. 23 -- Awami Itihaad Party (AIP) Chief Spokesperson Inam Un Nabi has said that the proposed 20% electricity surcharge during peak hours has come as a "fresh worry for people who are already struggling to survive the winter months."
In a Statement issued, Inam Un Nabi said Kashmiris had hoped for relief after the elections especially after the National Conference repeatedly promised 200 units of free electricity. "Instead of comfort, people have woken up to the news of another burden," he said.
