Jammu, Nov. 25 -- Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader and addl spokesperson Zuhaib Yousuf Mir has strongly condemned the recent statements and actions of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders, accusing them of stoking communal tensions and pushing discriminatory policies targeting Muslim students.

Mir referred to a delegation led by Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma, which met the Lieutenant Governor and reportedly demanded the cancellation of student admissions while seeking to reserve seats exclusively for devotees of a particular deity. He said such demands reflect a direct and deliberate attempt to marginalize the Muslim community.
