Budgam, Nov. 7 -- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday said that the alliance between the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) continues to be in place. Speaking at a public gathering in Budgam, Abdullah discussed electricity usage and billing, noting that consumption should only be counted where meters are installed.
He explained that if a meter is unnecessary, it should not be used, and bills would rise in line with actual usage.
He added, "We have promised 200 free units, and God willing, we will fulfill that commitment. To benefit from this, do not fall for the PDP's political tactics."
