Srinagar, Sept. 6 -- People's Conference Chairman Sajad Lone on Saturday urged restraint from both the public and political leaders following the controversy over the use of a government emblem at the Hazratbal shrine.

In a post on "X", Lone described the incident as unfortunate and said that placing an emblem inside a revered religious site was inappropriate. He appealed to the police to avoid registering a case in order to prevent further tensions. "It is imperative that we do not allow tempers to flare up. The police should desist from registering an FIR,"...
