Srinagar, Nov. 4 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Corruption Bureau has made a major breakthrough by arresting a Patwari from Samba while accepting a bribe and recovering over ?35 lakh in cash.
According to a statement issued, reads that the case was registered under FIR No. 19/2025 at Police Station ACB Jammu against Sunil Kumar, Patwari of Patwar Halqa Dadui, Tehsil and District Samba, under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
According to the ACB, the accused had demanded ?1 lakh from the complainant for preparing a report sought by the Tehsildar Samba regarding correction of Girdawari.
