Jammu, Dec. 2 -- Srinagar, Dec 2(KNS) Sub-zero temperatures gripped most parts of Kashmir on Tuesday as the region continued to battle an intense cold wave, with several places recording the coldest night of the season so far, officials said. Srinagar recorded a minimum temperature of minus 2.5degC, while Pampore was the coldest in the Valley at minus 4.2degC, followed by Baramulla at minus 4.3degC and Shopian at minus 5.0degC, according to data compiled by Kashmir Weather. Kupwara registered minus 3.1degC, Qazigund minus 2.4degC and Pahalgam minus 2.2degC. Kokernag settled at minus 0.6degC, while Gulmarg recorded 0.0degC.
