Srinagar, Oct. 24 -- Ibni Ahmad

Reacting to the outcome of the Rajya Sabha elections in Jammu and Kashmir, JKPCC Chief Tariq Hameed Karra on Friday said the Congress had rightly declined the National Conference's offer to contest the fourth seat, calling it a "risky seat that could not be won by anyone."

Speaking to Kashmir News Service (KNS) after the BJP secured the fourth Rajya Sabha seat, Karra said the result had vindicated the Congress Party's earlier assessment.

"It is a vindication of what I have been saying from the very beginning that this was a risky seat and cannot be won by anyone," Karra said.

He added that the Congress had made its decision based on a realistic political evaluation.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Chan...
