Srinagar, July 13 -- Jammu and Kashmir's Chief Minister criticized the government's move to restrict public access to the Martyrs' Graveyard on July 13, calling it a violation of democratic rights.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the CM said the 13th July massacre was like Kashmir's own Jallianwala Bagh, where brave people laid down their lives fighting against British rule. "These martyrs gave their lives to raise the voice of Kashmiris and empower them.
