Jammu, Dec. 1 -- The Jammu Division of Northern Railway earned around ?57 lakh in revenue from ticket checking during November as part of special drives to curb ticketless and irregular travel, officials said on Monday.
Officials told the Kashmir News Service (KNS), that the drives were conducted under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager Vivek Kumar and the supervision of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (SDCM) Uchit Singhal.
Ticket checking teams carried out inspections at several railway stations across the division, including Jammu, Katra, Pathankot Cantt, Pathankot City and Srinagar, as well as on multiple trains.
