Jammu, Jan. 29 -- Northern Railway, Jammu Division, conducted a special ticket checking drive on the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra to Srinagar rail section on January 27 and 28, officials said on Wednesday. The drive was carried out in view of disrupted air and road traffic due to snowfall in the Jammu division and the increased number of passengers on the rail route. Teams were deployed under the supervision of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Jammu, Uchit Singhal, in coordination with the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP).
