Leh, Nov. 28 -- In a major step towards strengthening logistics infrastructure in high-altitude regions, Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, Army Commander, Northern Command, inaugurated the pioneering Project Sena Sarthi at Leh on Friday. The initiative, developed in partnership with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), marks the commissioning of state-of-the-art underground fuel, oil and lubricant storage facilities in the Kargil sector.
The project was e-inaugurated jointly by Lt Gen Pratik Sharma and Subhankar Sen, Director Marketing, BPCL, in the presence of Lt Gen Hitesh Bhalla, Corps Commander, Fire and Fury Corps, and Lt Gen Mukesh Chadha, Senior Colonel Commandant, Army Services Corps.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
