New Delhi, Aug. 1 -- India has informed Parliament that its relationship with Pakistan continues to face serious strain following the Pahalgam terror attack earlier this year.
The government stated that in response to the assault, carried out by militants from across the border, it launched a military campaign named Operation Sindoor targeting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
The update came through a written reply in the Lok Sabha by Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh, who outlined India's response to the April 22 attack that claimed civilian lives in Jammu and Kashmir.
