Srinagar, Oct. 22 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee chief Tariq Hameed Karra on Wednesday said that they have decided not to attend the meeting called by the National Conference on Wednesday, adding it will await directions from the party's central leadership before taking any decision on alliance discussions.

Speaking to reporters, Karra said that the Congress will not participate in the meeting convened by NC president Dr. Farooq Abdullah. "Unless there is a clear signal from our central leadership in Delhi, we will not attend any meeting called by the National Conference," Karra said.
