Jammu, Oct. 3 -- The Nigeen Lake Conservation Organisation (NLCO), under the chairmanship of Manzoor Wangnoo, extends deep appreciation to the Lakes Conservation & Management Authority (LCMA) for its efforts during the Sewa Parv 2025 initiative, which witnessed significant cleaning operations at Khushalsar.

The clean-up drive has not only brought visible improvement but also rekindled hope for the revival of this ecologically important water body. NLCO strongly believes that such interventions must now be sustained in a systematic and proportionate manner.

In this regard, NLCO urges that the restoration process be immediately extended to Gilsar Lake at the earliest as both Khushalsar and Gilsar are interconnected water systems. A dedica...
