New Delhi, Dec. 28 -- The 5th Anti-Terror Conference of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) concluded on Sunday, reaffirming Prime Minister Narendra Modi's firm directive of zero tolerance towards terrorists.

The two-day event, inaugurated by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, focused on strengthening India's anti-terror architecture and enhancing coordination between central and state agencies.

Addressing the conference, Shah directed states to expeditiously implement a uniform Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) structure to boost counter-terror capabilities. He emphasized that robust, standardized, and consistent operational capacity across the country is essential for effective intelligence use and coordinated counter-actions.
