New Delhi, Dec. 3 -- The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has issued a notice to the Jammu & Kashmir Government over the proposed construction of a new industrial estate at Trenz in south Kashmir's Shopian district, after a petition claimed that the 500-kanal site earmarked for the project falls within the flood plain of the Rambiara river.
The matter came up for hearing on Tuesday before the Principal Bench of the Tribunal headed by Justice Prakash Srivastava, with expert members Dr Senthil Vel and Dr Afroz Alam on the bench.
