Jammu, April 9 -- The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq Wednesday said that Waqf Amendment Act 2025 is significantly intruding into the religious affairs of the Muslim community and that the party will file a petition before the Honorable Supreme Court of India to challenge the Act.
In a statement released from the party headquarters Nawa-e-Subha, Tanvir said the party believes this Act constitutes an alarming interference in the religious affairs of the Muslim community.
