Srinagar, Dec. 18 -- National Conference Chief Spokesperson and MLA Zadibal, Tanveer Sadiq, on thuresday declared that the J&K Land Grants (Restoration & Protection) Bill is officially active in the Assembly, marking a decisive step toward reclaiming the region's land rights.

In a statement issued, Sadiq emphasized that the primary objective of this legislation is to undo the controversial 2022 amendments and fully restore the original 1960 framework. He stated that the Bill is designed to provide ironclad protection to every lawful resident, local leaseholder, and public institution in Jammu & Kashmir.
