Srinagar, Dec. 9 -- The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference State Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar Tuesday criticized the People's Democratic Party for its recent 'Kath Baath' event in Srinagar, terming it a paradox and highlighting the party's inconsistent stance on youth issues in Jammu and Kashmir.
"While PDP attempts to project itself as a youth-friendly party, the reality is far from it. This is the same party that, during its tenure, imposed the Public Safety Act (PSA) on thousands of young people, criminalizing their voices and aspirations. It was the same party that used pellet guns against unarmed protesters, leading to thousands of injuries and permanent disabilities," Dar said in a statement issued.
