Srinagar, April 25 -- Awami National Conference leader Muzaffar Shah has called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to hold direct talks with Kashmiri political and civil society leaders following the deadly Pahalgam attack that killed innocent tourists.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, Shah stressed the need for the central leadership to understand public sentiment in Kashmir without filters. He praised the unity shown at an all-party meeting chaired by Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, where leaders unanimously condemned the attack.
