Jammu, July 7 -- Muttahida Majlis-e-Ulama Jammu & Kashmir (MMU) which includes both Sunni and Shia organisations, strongly appeals to all the respected scholars, preachers, orators, and community leaders of all schools of thought, to exercise utmost caution and responsibility in their words and statements at all times.

According to a statement issued to KNS, the Majlis firmly states that the honour, dignity, and sanctity of purified members of the Prophet's family (Ahl al-Bayt), and the noble Companions of the Prophet (Sahaba) - may Allah be pleased with them all - is a fundamental part of the faith.
