Jammu, Jan. 23 -- Asif Malik Srinagar, Jan 23(KNS): Multi-layered security arrangements have been put in place across the Kashmir Valley and Srinagar ahead of the 26th January Republic Day celebrations, officials said on Friday. V.K. Birdi, Inspector General of Police (IGP) for the Kashmir Zone, told reporters that the entire valley will witness heightened security measures, with a coordinated deployment of Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel alongside paramilitary forces.
