Srinagar, Jan. 24 -- The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir, Vidhi Kumar Birdi said multi-layered security arrangements involving the Jammu and Kashmir Police and central paramilitary forces have been put in place across the Valley for Republic Day, while issuing an "open invitation" for people to join the celebrations.
