Bandipora, May 23 -- Renowned Islamic scholar and Sheikh-ul-Hadith, Mufti Nazir Ahmad Qasmi, suffered a massive heart attack on Thursday morning and was rushed to SKIMS Soura for treatment.

The incident took place at Darul Uloom Rahimya in Bandipora, where Mufti Qasmi complained of severe chest pain around 9:30 AM. He was first taken to a nearby hospital and later shifted to Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) in Srinagar for specialised care.
