Poonch May 11 (KNS), May 11 -- National Conference Member of Parliament from ( Anantnag-Rajouri) segment, Mian Altaf Ahmed Sunday visited several areas of Poonch district those affected by the cross border shelling to assess the situation.

In a statement issued, Mian Altaf conducted a visit of the border areas in district Poonch to assess the aftermath of the recent cross-border shelling which tragically claimed several innocent lives and left many others injured besides several families homeless. During his visit, the MP took stock of the current situation and met with the affected residents, whose houses were damaged in the firing.
