Bandipora, Aug. 21 -- Prominent Islamic scholar and rector of Darul Uloom Raheemiya, Bandipora, Moulana Muhammad Rehmatullah Qasmi has extended heartfelt gratitude to all those who visited him, attended the funeral, or conveyed condolences on the demise of his mother.

Misra Begum, mother of Moualana Qasmi passed away on August 15 evening after a brief illness. Hundreds of people from across the valley participated in the funeral prayers.

Quoting a Hadith, "Whoever does not thank people, does not thank Allah," Moulana Qasmi said the overwhelming support from people, both in person and through various means, had been a source of strength for the bereaved family.
