Jammu, July 31 -- Islamic scholar and head of the Ulama-e-Ahnaf, Molana Akhzar Hussain, has expressed grave concern over the growing drug menace in Jammu and Kashmir, describing it not just as a social crisis but a catastrophe collective concern.

Talking to media he said that the consistent efforts of the police force in tackling the issue through raids, seizures, and preventive measures. He praised the police's role as commendable and encouraging but emphasized the need for political leadership to take a more active stance in this critical battle.
