Pahalgam, June 28 -- In view of the upcoming Amarnath Yatra 2025, a comprehensive mock drill was conducted under the supervision of Major General (Retd.) Sudhir Bahl at Pahalgam to assess disaster preparedness and refine the response strategy wherever necessary.

The drill simulated various emergency scenarios, including fire incidents, terrorist attacks, vehicular accidents, and stampedes. These simulations were carried out at the Nunwan Base Camp, Chandanwari and adjoining areas.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Anantnag, Sandeep Singh Bali, who was present on the occasion, stated that the response strategies for all scenarios were thoroughly reviewed.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
