Jammu, June 2 -- On the solemn occasion of the death anniversary of Hazrat Amir Kabir Mir Syed Ali Hamadani (RA), the Mirwaiz of Kashmir, Dr. Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, paid heartfelt tribute to the revered saint, calling him a towering figure in the spiritual, religious, and socio-economic transformation of Kashmir.

Mirwaiz said that Hazrat Shah Hamadan arrived in Kashmir at a time when the region was steeped in disbelief and ignorance.
