Srinagar, June 2 -- Mirwaiz-e-kashmir Molvi mohammad Umar Farooq, addressing a gathering organised by Aga Syed Mohammad Hadi Al-Moosavi Al-Safvi at Imam Barah Bemina on the occasion of the 36th death anniversary of the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Ruhollah Khomeini (RA),paid glowing tribute to his legacy and contributions to the Muslim world.

Mirwaiz said that Imam Khomeini was a towering religious and political figure of the 20th century whose unwavering faith, leadership, and vision transformed a nation and inspired peoples globally. "His message of Muslim unity, resistance to injustice , and Islamic awakening remains profoundly relevant in our times," he said.
