Srinagar, April 3 -- The Lok Sabha passed the controversial Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2025, early Thursday after a marathon 12-hour debate. The bill was approved with 288 votes in favor and 232 against, despite strong opposition protests and the rejection of all proposed amendments.
