Srinagar, Sept. 26 -- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday announced the reopening of 12 tourist destinations across Jammu and Kashmir, which had been closed earlier as a precautionary measure.
The decision follows a detailed security review conducted at the Unified Headquarters (UHQ) meeting.
In an official post on X, the office of the J&K LG stated that after a thorough assessment and discussions during the UHQ meeting, the Lieutenant Governor approved reopening of several tourist spots in both Kashmir and Jammu divisions. The post confirmed that the reopening will take effect from Monday, September 29.
