Srinagar, Dec. 24 -- The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has appointed an inquiry officer to investigate allegations of poor quality nutritional supplies being distributed in various Poshan Projects of Anantnag district.

In an order issued by the Directorate of Mission Poshan J&K, Zaheer Abbas, District Programme Officer, Kulgam, has been appointed as the inquiry officer to conduct a thorough probe into the matter.

The inquiry follows claims made by Anganwadi workers in Anantnag, who had alleged that substandard nutrition items were being supplied to different ICDS (Integrated Child Development Services) projects.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
