Srinagar, Nov. 28 -- Kashmiri IPS officer Sheema Nabi Qasba has secured the first position in a national joint intelligence training programme conducted for mid-senior level officers from multiple intelligence and internal security organisations.

Qasba, a 2016-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the Jammu & Kashmir cadre, is currently serving on central deputation with the Intelligence Bureau as Assistant Director. The programme focuses on inter-agency coordination, strategic planning, leadership capacity and institutional integration. Selection for participation is considered highly competitive, and performance is evaluated through academic and professional assessments.
