Srinagar, Nov. 25 -- The School Education Department (SED) has announced a staggered winter vacation for students in the Kashmir division and the winter zones of Jammu Division, according to an official order issued on Tuesday.

The phased schedule outlines different start dates for various classes. Pre-primary or Balvatika students will begin their break on November 26, which will continue until February 28, 2026.

Middle school students, covering classes up to 8th standard, are scheduled to start their winter vacation from December 1, also extending until the end of February.
