Jammu, March 3 -- The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Additional General Secretary Dr. Sheikh Mustafa Kamal Monday urged the government to alleviate the hardships faced by the people in the aftermath of heavy snowfall and rainfall across Jammu and Kashmir.

In a statement released from the party headquarters Nawa-e-Subha, Kamal commended the party MLAs for their efforts in assisting the people during the recent heavy rainfall. He also praised the government for their preparations for the month of Ramadan and their actions to alleviate the difficulties faced by the people in the snow-covered areas of Kashmir and winter zones of Jammu division.
