Srinagar, July 4 -- The JKTDC Employees Union respectfully requests the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to kindly postpone the upcoming Board of Directors meeting of the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation (JKTDC).

This request is being made because the employees are not aware of the agenda items of the meeting and are worried that some important decisions may be taken without their knowledge or consultation. There are strong concerns that the government may be planning to outsource some of the Corporation's key properties, including the Pahalgam Club and hutments. These units are among the highest revenue-generating properties of JKTDC, and outsourcing them may badly affect the Corporation's income as well as the future of it...
