Bandipora, Jan. 30 -- Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) District President Bandipora Mushtaq Ahmad Tantrey has urged the authorities to extend the door-to-door garbage collection service to every village in the region. He expressed concern that the Rural Development Department has implemented the service in only a few selected villages, leaving many others without proper waste management facilities.

Tantrey emphasized that the lack of a comprehensive garbage disposal system is forcing villagers to dump waste into nallas and streams, leading to environmental degradation and health hazards.
