Srinagar, July 10 -- Hundreds of youth across Jammu and Kashmir are growing increasingly anxious and emotionally drained as they continue to wait for the Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) shortlist following the written examination for the post of JKP Constable conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB).

The recruitment notification for the post was issued in July 2024, followed by the written examination in December 2024. The results were declared in January 2025. Since then, there has been no update from JKSSB regarding the next stage of the recruitment process.
