Jammu, July 25 -- Jammu and Kashmir Cabinet Minister Javid Rana, has strongly condemned the firing incident in Jammu that led to the death of a young man, calling it a "shocking tragedy" and urging the authorities to ensure a fair investigation.

Rana said he had already taken up the matter with the top police and administrative officials. "It is a very shocking incident and we condemn it. I have spoken to the Inspector General of Police (IG) Jammu and the administration. They have assured me that an inquiry is being conducted," he told KNS
